Ken Mansfield

I started writing age 60 out of necessity.

The need to write and tell the world about the four wonderful people we lost over a 3 year period from late 2017- 2020. I am in the process of completing my second book for publication with several more in the pipeline.

I seem to have the writing bug. Born a Londoner, I grew up on a Battersea council estate before marrying and moving to Kent in my early twenties, where we had our 3 amazing children, who since have given us 3 wonderful grandchildren. We share our house with our miniature schnauzer dog Wilson.

Due to the overwhelming need to write about the the four wonderful family members we lost over a three year period. (2017-2020) Little did I realise that apart from being a form of therapy, completion had unwittingly kick started my book writing journey.

Born and bred a proud Londoner, I grew up on a Battersea council estate before marrying and moving to Kent in my early twenties, where we had our 3 amazing children, who have since given us 3 wonderful grandchildren. We share our house with our miniature schnauzer dog Wilson.

My second book ‘Lost’ is a short story about…

“The loss of a child’s cuddly toy companion and the effects this has on the two sets of parents, desperate to solve the mystery.
